Volunteer with us

Volunteering at Safe-Talk means you can make a direct difference to young people’s lives.

You Will

SafeTalk is a free, confidential online service providing emotional wellbeing and mental health support to teenagers aged 13–18. We create a safe, supportive space where young people can talk openly, feel heard, and access guidance when they need it most.
As a SafeTalk Volunteer, you will provide compassionate listening, encouragement, and emotional support to young people seeking help online, via our chat service. Volunteers are not expected to give therapy, but to offer empathy, understanding, and a safe environment for open conversation.
